A Conversation Through Touch
When I put my hands on a horse, I'm not just feeling for tight muscles or obvious soreness. I'm listening — with my hands, my heart, and my mind — to the story their body is telling.
The Science Behind the Feel: Fascia and Flow
At Unbound Equine, my style of bodywork is rooted deeply in the science of fascia: the vast, intelligent network of connective tissue that shapes, supports, and influences every movement a horse makes. Modern research has shown us how critical fascia is to biomechanics, posture, stability, and even emotional wellbeing. Working with it skillfully can unlock profound change — and that's what my work is all about.
But the science is only part of the picture.
Respecting the Horse’s Yes — and No
True transformation happens at the meeting point of science and feel. It’s the ability to sense when a horse is ready to release tension — and when they need more time. It's noticing the subtle shifts in breath, posture, and energy that tell me we're on the right track. It's recognizing that horses are active participants in their healing, not passive recipients.
Every session is a conversation — one built on trust, respect, and deep listening.
Why This Work Feels Different
By blending anatomical knowledge, a finely tuned sense of feel, and a commitment to honoring each horse’s pace and process, I help horses move more freely, feel better in their bodies, and reconnect with their natural balance.
It’s a joy, a privilege, and a partnership every step of the way.
Helping the Whole Horse Thrive
If you’re curious to learn more or think your horse could benefit from this integrative approach, I’d love to connect.
